Programme Expat in the City 2017

The Expat in the City Fair programme aims to inform and inspire you on a variety of topics related to expat life. Here is the overview of all that will be happening on 12 March 2017.

There is no sign-up for the Expert Talks and Workshops so make sure you are on time!

Childcare by Elly & Stoffl (from 3-6 yrs)

Handycraft workshops (for kids age 7-12)

Comedy performance by Mel Kelly

Who: Comedy Club Munich  – Mel Kelly
Where: at the Plaza
Description: Mel Kelly is the founder of the Comedy Club Munich and delivers Irish humour in both German and English about living in Germany as an Irishman. He sometimes understands German humour, but the Germans sometimes understand him even less. He has now done Stand-up Comedy in Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany and Ireland. His Motto is: Born in Ireland, Made in Germany.

Craft Beer Tasting with Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu

Description: Munich is known for its traditional lager beer scene, but under the radar of the Munich brewing behemoths a lively scene of young exciting craft brewers has grown up. Among them is Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu from the border of the Alps which has reinvigorated the traditions of the old brewing town Bad Tölz. Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu’s brewmasters will take you on a journey from old to new on this specialty beer tasting from Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu!



Culture Shock: Living your best life in Munich
